Can you believe summer is officially here and our baby is 15 mos? Where is time going! Addisyn has become quite the character. Her vocabulary is expanding with hi being one of her favorite words lately. She has a passion for books, especially ones with flaps to open. She would let you read to her all day! Addisyn has also figured out how to go down stairs. Finally!!! She can only do a few steps, so she's able to get down from the deck and front stoop without help. I'm not ready to test her on the big staircase! Addisyn is such the water baby. I think some of her happiest times are when she's splashing in a bucket or sticking her head in puddles! She has a check-up next Wednesday, so it'll be interesting to see how much she's grown since March. Stay tuned for more updates!! Here are a few pics from Wednesday afternoon at the pool.

Happy Father's Day!!!
Happy Father's Day to all the daddy's out there, and especially to Brad! Our day consisted of playing outside and family nap-time! Addisyn got Brad several new outfits for summer and a desk organizer with a picture of the two of them on it. This isn't a current picture, but is one of my favorites of Brad and Addisyn. How precious those early weeks with her were!

Weekend in Baltimore
We had a blast in Baltimore! Brad and I were able to experience the city all over again, and through Addisyn's eyes. It is truly amazing what wows her, and what she doesn't even notice! She was so entertained by something as small as a duck, but could of cared less when we saw elephants! We took Addisyn to the aquarium on Saturday, then to the zoo on Sunday. After dinner and a walk around Inner Harbor, we finished each evening with a dip in the hotel pool. Having already traveled many times with Addisyn, Brad and I quickly figured out the perfect place for her bed - in the closet! She will not fall asleep if she can see you, and after spending many nights in the dark bathroom while in Philly, this set-up was perfect! By the end of each day she was so exhausted that I really don't think it would of mattered for this trip, but Brad and I weren't taking chances! For a soon to be 15 mos old, this little one has been on so many trips - way more than Brad or I ever were able to do as a child. Hopefully as she grows, she'll appreciate how fortunate we are, and will not take anything for granted. We got some amazing pics, so I'll do my best to not post them all!! Enjoy!

Her version of smelling the flowers...

Priceless...I was humming the theme to Jaws as he swam all around Addisyn!!

Waiting for the dolphins

The Zoo
Wow!!

Her first train ride at the zoo!

What could be more fun that splashing in a fountain and chasing a pigeon?

It started out sunny, then the rain clouds came in.....
Our day started out at the park celebrating Olivia's birthday with mom's from the club. The sun was shining, the kids decorated cupcakes, then played on the playground. For those of you who know Addisyn well, you know how much she loves to eat. Today was no exception...she inhaled her cupcake! And this took place not even 1/2 hour after her enormous breakfast!

The love of her life, Joseph!! Look how her eyes light up when she sees him!!! And for Joseph's mommy, Peggy, sorry I'm a little late posting today!!!!

Addisyn has joined me in tossing subtle hints Brad's way that we are ready for baby #2!! What a loving big sister she'll make! This is Ashland, Liv's beautiful baby sister, and Cat's 2nd child. Maybe we'll just borrow her until Brad jumps on board?!

As the title states, then the rain clouds came in. We headed to Cowan's Gap with my parents and niece, only to get 10 minutes away and have the down pouring begin. After waiting the storm out in the car, we were optimistic the sun would come out and the girls could play in the sand. Unfortunately, that never happened! Addisyn was overly excited just to look at the water, so I couldn't let her go home after traveling that far without some fun. Nanny, Kylee, and Addisyn found huge water puddles, and so the fun began! Hopefully next time we plan a trip there, the weather will cooperate!

Telling the sand and water bye-bye

Not sure if she's trying to drink the water, or just cool her head off!

What a week!
This week flew by without me blogging once!! So I guess we have some catching up to do - our only big event of the week was Olivia's birthday bash! And her parents sure know how to through a party!! The kids all had a blast and the bouncy house was a hit. Addisyn and Alaina enjoyed the tub of toys more than anything. It doesn't take much to make 1 year olds happy! And now on with the pics...

Later that evening Brad and I took Addisyn to visit the fish and ducks. After the kitty (ee-eee), the ducks (du) are her favorite!

The weather Friday was absolutely horrible, so Brad came up with the idea to move furniture and build a fort - Addisyn LOVED it!! Unfortunately I missed the best photo - the two of them hiding under the fort and Addisyn laughing hysterically!

And just a few cute ones through the week. When it isn't bath night Addisyn gets a bird bath in her sink. I think she likes this better than the tub!

And spaghetti night always makes for a good laugh! Have a great weekend!!!!
