He's walking!

Ben took his first step December 28th and life has gotten crazy each day since then! I am so sad to see the crawling stage end, but am so excited to chase these two little ones all through the yard this summer. For whatever reason, it won't let me post a video so I'll try later!

Here we go Steelers......

We are dressed, the snacks are ready to be eaten, let the game begin!!! The kiddos were so not into pics this morning, so this is the best I could get!

And Big Ben, just incase you need a break, little Ben is ready to play!

The Challenge...

A 9 week workout program with a personal trainer. Let's hope it can kick Brad and I back into shape - or at least burn up some of Addisyn's energy!!

Preparing for Santa

Now that Addisyn is older, we thought this year was perfect to bring out some traditions we enjoyed growing up. One of the old fav's is making cookies for Santa. Addisyn loved every part of baking! She helped break the eggs (which we had to get from the neighbors!), stir the batter, roll the cookies, and decorate with icing and sprinkles.






Of course, what's baking without sampling? When I took the second batch out of the oven, I turned to find this...

We placed our cookies, milk and carrots ever so carefully on a small table by the door christmas eve and hoped the big man in red would make an appearance!



The look on her face christmas morning when she came down the stairs and realized the treats were gone was priceless! Brad thought he was recording her as she came downstairs, but turns out he never turned it on! So all we have is this pic of her!

Holiday traditions are so much more fun now that the little ones are here to share them with!

So behind!!

Seems like forever since I've posted! I took a much needed blog/computer break over the holidays and am now back in the groove of life. So much time has passed that I'll slowly recap the last few weeks.

Ben is now 10 mos and is such a loving, sweet little man! He's up to 8 teeth now and eats pretty much everything in site! Ben still naps twice a day and is an amazing sleeper - we're so thankful for that. He is standing on his own, cruising all over the place, and has started taking a step or two. The only word he says is momma....such a sweet first word! It took Addisyn forever till she could say my name! Little man is super busy figuring out how things open, checking out his surroundings, and trying to keep up with Addisyn.


The morning I took the following pics the kids were hilarious! Addisyn was insistent that Ben have a baby buggy and follow her around the house. So the two of them made lap after lap together!
