Memorial Day and the last Aqua Tots Class

We celebrated Memorial Day with a cookout at our house with my parents. Good food + good wine = a good time!


Addisyn also got to enjoy her first popsicle. Someone should tell her she won't get any by eating from the middle!!

Thursday was our last class of Aqua Tots for the summer. The class definitely helped Addisyn become more comfortable with the water. She now enjoys splashing along to the songs and kicking her feet when lying on her back. We plan on joining again when the weather turns ugly. Both Addisyn and I will miss the class!

Addisyn is 14 mos old!!

I wish we could stop time and freeze these moments! Its amazing to me how much she's changing, daily! Every day Addisyn is learning something, saying something, or doing something new. We are now seeing the devilish side of her - if she has something she's not supposed to, she now runs and hides with it! And I've been told Ahh (no!), many times this past month. Apparently Addisyn thinks if she's not allowed to have it, neither am I! She loves running outside and has the battle marks to prove how clumsy she still is. And I'm proud to say that my name is no longer da-da, I'm now Ba-ba! We've stopped nursing as of yesterday, and will be working hard on getting her to drink cow's milk - can you blame her for not wanting it? It's gross! Fun in the Sun!

Addisyn and I met up with Rachel and Alaina at Caledonia for some water time. Last time we took the girls, we didn't have them in bathing suits and they wouldn't stay out of the water! So this time we were more prepared, but neither of them were overly interested in the water. Must of been the freezing cold temperature!! I am loving my new camera - just look at these great close ups I got!!

My baby sister is a college grad!!!

Where has the time gone? Kristen (after 1 more class), is a Temple college grad! I felt younger having a sister still in college, but now I guess I'm old!! Thursday was the graduation ceremony and Saturday we hosted a party at our house. The weather, luckily, held out most of the evening for us and everything went smoothly! We had a wonderful playdate at Julie's house today. Addisyn had a blast! I really don't think she even cared I was there once she saw the mounds of toys! I even let her have her first donut hole and cheese curls. Here are a few pics of Addisyn with Joseph and Alaina!

New Camera!!!!

My Mother's Day gift this year was a new Canon camera and I am in love!!!! Our old camera would only take good pics if it was zoomed the entire way. I'm super excited to be able to get more than just a head shot of people! Here are a few shots from it!

The week in review

Thought I would share some pics from the past 2 weeks! We had Haylee over one day to play and the girls had a blast together. The girls played in the birdfeeder and Addisyn showed Haylee how to unzip her jacket!

Addisyn also learned how to get in and out of clothes baskets...

And got her belated birthday gift from her grandparents.

New Moves

Remember Addisyn's 1st dance move, the bounce? Well, her daddy has been teaching her the "sway"! And for the record, she dances nothing like her mother in this video!
