It started out sunny, then the rain clouds came in.....

Our day started out at the park celebrating Olivia's birthday with mom's from the club. The sun was shining, the kids decorated cupcakes, then played on the playground. For those of you who know Addisyn well, you know how much she loves to eat. Today was no exception...she inhaled her cupcake! And this took place not even 1/2 hour after her enormous breakfast!

The love of her life, Joseph!! Look how her eyes light up when she sees him!!! And for Joseph's mommy, Peggy, sorry I'm a little late posting today!!!!

Addisyn has joined me in tossing subtle hints Brad's way that we are ready for baby #2!! What a loving big sister she'll make! This is Ashland, Liv's beautiful baby sister, and Cat's 2nd child. Maybe we'll just borrow her until Brad jumps on board?!

As the title states, then the rain clouds came in. We headed to Cowan's Gap with my parents and niece, only to get 10 minutes away and have the down pouring begin. After waiting the storm out in the car, we were optimistic the sun would come out and the girls could play in the sand. Unfortunately, that never happened! Addisyn was overly excited just to look at the water, so I couldn't let her go home after traveling that far without some fun. Nanny, Kylee, and Addisyn found huge water puddles, and so the fun began! Hopefully next time we plan a trip there, the weather will cooperate!

Telling the sand and water bye-bye

Not sure if she's trying to drink the water, or just cool her head off!

What a week!

This week flew by without me blogging once!! So I guess we have some catching up to do - our only big event of the week was Olivia's birthday bash! And her parents sure know how to through a party!! The kids all had a blast and the bouncy house was a hit. Addisyn and Alaina enjoyed the tub of toys more than anything. It doesn't take much to make 1 year olds happy! And now on with the pics...

Later that evening Brad and I took Addisyn to visit the fish and ducks. After the kitty (ee-eee), the ducks (du) are her favorite!

The weather Friday was absolutely horrible, so Brad came up with the idea to move furniture and build a fort - Addisyn LOVED it!! Unfortunately I missed the best photo - the two of them hiding under the fort and Addisyn laughing hysterically!

And just a few cute ones through the week. When it isn't bath night Addisyn gets a bird bath in her sink. I think she likes this better than the tub!

And spaghetti night always makes for a good laugh! Have a great weekend!!!!

Memorial Day and the last Aqua Tots Class

We celebrated Memorial Day with a cookout at our house with my parents. Good food + good wine = a good time!

Addisyn also got to enjoy her first popsicle. Someone should tell her she won't get any by eating from the middle!!

Thursday was our last class of Aqua Tots for the summer. The class definitely helped Addisyn become more comfortable with the water. She now enjoys splashing along to the songs and kicking her feet when lying on her back. We plan on joining again when the weather turns ugly. Both Addisyn and I will miss the class!

This picture makes me laugh everytime I look at it!

And here are a few of Addisyn throughout the week!

Addisyn is 14 mos old!!

I wish we could stop time and freeze these moments! Its amazing to me how much she's changing, daily! Every day Addisyn is learning something, saying something, or doing something new. We are now seeing the devilish side of her - if she has something she's not supposed to, she now runs and hides with it! And I've been told Ahh (no!), many times this past month. Apparently Addisyn thinks if she's not allowed to have it, neither am I! She loves running outside and has the battle marks to prove how clumsy she still is. And I'm proud to say that my name is no longer da-da, I'm now Ba-ba! We've stopped nursing as of yesterday, and will be working hard on getting her to drink cow's milk - can you blame her for not wanting it? It's gross! Here are a few pics from her eating her new favorite - turkey sloppy joes, and playing in her pool!
